Often we as a society only focus on one part of our health such as the body with diet and exercise or our emotional health. To have ultimate health we need to care for our minds, bodies and our spirit. Without all three, feeling and being healthy can feel like quite a challenge. By balancing all three you feel happier and it reflects in every part of your life.
It is very much like throwing a rock in a still pond. The ripple effects of your health not only affect you but it reflects on those around you.
To create balance in your life it is important to nurture all parts of yourself. There has been a great deal of scientific research proving that you can lower stress, lift your mood and improve your relationships.
It is my personal belief that holistic medicine is the healthiest lifestyle. There is a place for modern-western medicine but we have gotten away from teaching one another how to maintain our health rather than just treat symptoms and ailments. Whether through meditation, sound therapy, acupuncture or other modalities for ultimate health, we need to take care of our mind, body & spirit. When we can maintain a balance of these things we train our body to maintain its optimum health.
